“clean rooms, accomodating staff, free wifi” . Our stay in saigon mini hotel 1 was generally nice and good. First, the staff were very accomodating, (especially when booking our tours, and when Hapina, one of the staff, was so kind enough to lend her digicam as i left my digicam battery at home). Second, the room was clean and the bedsheets and towels too. Third, the free wifi was a big plus for us as we always check on things back home. Fourth, the room rate was with free breakfast already which was delicious but nothing extraordinary. read more

“THANK YOU for the excellent service” . Six of us from Singapore stayed in this hotel for 5 nights based on recommendation from my daughter who had earlier stayed here. The rooms were clean although a little small. The staff, from the receptionists, housekeepers, security right down to the pantry servers were very friendly and helpful. No communication issues as the receptionists spoke very good English. read more

“Best stay in Vietnam, basic things done right.” This was the best stay of all the hotels across vietnam. It's just the small things done right, such as really genuinely friendly and helpful staff who can speak english well, displaying room rates, prices on drinks (reasonable at that too), good tour pricing, multiple security guards at all times, included breakfast with cooked/continental options, nice bathrooms, clean rooms. It's not the fanciest hotel, but the staff make all the difference. Willing to assit and help with genuine advice and assistance when needed. Only few negative things would be the TV receiption is pretty bad and no computers in the rooms but there are two in the lobby. Pretty small things. I highly recomened this hotel, it was the last one we stayed at and was well rated on trip advisor, which is why we decided on it. For a country still catching up on basic requirements expected by western visitors, this is a pleasant change from the dodgyness and common extortion and tricks played by other hotels in the similar price range. Thank you Saigon Mini Hotel. read more

“Great hotel and staff” . We stayed here for two nights in May. The check-in was efficient and the staff were very friendly. We arrived by taxi from where the bus from Phnom Penh had dropped us off. The taxi driver took us on a great tour and the bill came to VND110,00 or $7. Reluctantly, we paid the amount and later found out that the taxi should have cost about $2 and the correct distance is about half a kilometre. The hotel could perhaps state in its email confirmation that the journey by taxi from the bus stop should be $2, like it mentions the journey from the airport to the hotel. The room was nice and clean with an easy to use safe and tea and coffee making facilities. At the last minute the reception staff managed to book us on a tour to Cu Chi Tunnels. Breakfast was OK but the ordering system from the menu was somewhat confusing. We would certainly stay there again. read more

“WHY PAY MORE FOR 5 STARS SERVICES??” . I spent 4 nights at saigon mini 1 with my friends. The rooms are clean and reasonably spacious; much better than expected. The staffs are incredibly friendly, not only the front desk but also the room keepers and the securty staffs.. The staffs are able to communicate in English very well, no difficulty in communication at all.. The front desk counters are more than willing to assist you with any enquiries you have and would also suggest places to visit. One minor negative point is that it is located at the back street. Taxi drivers usually have problem searching for the place but no worries about that, simply get a card from the front desk and bring it along with you all the time. The taxi driver would be able to send you back. Though located the back street, it is extremely safe as there are stalls selling local delicious food till 3am. The group of security guards were always there to welcome us back or wave us goodbye. I would definately come back if i were to visit Ho Chi Minh again. BOTH THUMBS UP!! read more

This hotel has 5star service. The receptionists speak excellent English and good knowledge of the interesting sites we can go to.We never have to carry our own luggage as the security staff is quick to offer their help. The photos that we see online are a real depiction of what you get at the hotel - very clean and homey! When my group went to Mui Ne Beach for 2 days, we could leave our belongings at the hotel even though we have checked out. read more

What a great mini hotel. Very well located in District 1, but off the main street meaning the room was very quiteThe staff was so friendly and helpful the rooms were immaculately clean and well kept. The bonus was the cable TV, any channel that you could imagine. It was good to have access after the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City. If you want a clean, well located modern hotel at a very reasonable place - this is the tops! read more
